Well they are on sea level aren't they?

Let me put this into your head. If Greenland or West Antarctica were to melt, the sea would raise up to 20 feet. This will displace over 100 million people in overcrowded areas such as China (Change river and coastal China), India, Eastern and South East USA, The Netherlands. Since those 100 million plus people will be living underwater, they will move to higher ground and overcrowd the rest of the world putting even more stress on the Environment then there is already.

As a general rule, people find it difficult to imagine problems. Until we're being directly affected by something, most of us prefer to disregard it as a possibility. Then, of course, we want someone else to rescue us. Stupid, but human.
