Ok, seriously now. I like to think the meaning of life is simply to be happy and live life as best we can, helping others along the way. Plus I do believe in a Christian God and all that implies as well.

This life is preparation for the next.Life is a God given test and a Trust.
I believe it is a great opportnity to show the world God's unconditional love.Yes God wants us to be happy and help others along the way.
I also believe The Purpose Driven Life is a good book.

Two: Matter is energy. In the universe there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul. However, this "soul" does not exist ab initio as orthodox Christianity teaches; it has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia.

Meaning of life? What does life mean? What is the purpose of life? Why does one live? What is life?
All are questions relative to life, and life is what we experience... whether on the physical plane or elsewhere.
The purpose of life is to experience and discover. What? Who, what, and why we are. What are we? Souls. What allows our Souls [which, since they are composed of Neutral Spiritual Energy - an Absolute] to experience is our MINDs.
That which facilitates this interchange between ones Soul and ones MIND is an aspect of ones Soul that I refer to by the term "Apapsyche". The Apapsyche is the Operational Energy of the Soul. It has two aspects by which it works. One is the Attn Aspect, and the other is the Awar Aspect. The Attn Asperct has the ability to instantly enter any of the three realms which make up the whole of Man by adopting itself to the vibrational energy of the realm it is entering. The Awar Aspect always follows that of Attn, and what the Attn Aspect is focused upon is what the Awar Aspect is experiencing.
The long and short of all this is to explore and experience the entire Creation, ultimately providing the Soul a full and comprehensive understanding of what it is. The "meaning of life" is therefore to discover God, of which ones Soul is an aspect.

i agree with your first part, to an extent, to the latter, nah...
specifically, life itself has no meaning, but to continue... we assign meanings to it as we live, and decide how we want to live..
