Buddies. They believed a lot of the same things. Both believed in judgement day, resurrection, and that good and evil forces were waging a war for human souls.

I think Jesus was a very open searcher for the trueth, not at all as closed minded to other serious searcher for the trueth as a lot of people portray him as. I do believe Jesus was a nice person.
