Are there any Catholics whether Roman or Orthodox who don't pray through the intercession? Or are those things mandatory?

sure but, I keep trying to encourage them because they get to see (with the earnest desire) Jesus' life through Mary's eyes

For instance it was Mary who showed me that the crowning of thorns was done to fulfill Scripture where the Ram that Abraham spied when he was on the Mountain about to sacrifice his son to God and God told him to stop, was all bound up in the sticker bushes by the horns. It actually says brambles but this is the same thing. This is the sacrifice that I myself will provide God said---and it was true---the best of the flock bound up by the head with thorns (brambles)

There are probably exceptions to anything that we on earth here do because we are all different and that would include praying the rosary or any other devotion . It may not be part of an individuals' spiritual growth which does not make them bad by no means only different . They are not mandatory .

that's only my opinion, yet I see no harm in utilising a prayer rope and reciting the Jesus Prayer. Even between Orthodox believers there are a number of alterations of the prayer rope and the thank you to desire with it. the perfect purpose of any Christian non secular workout is to grow to be greater like our loving Father in Heaven. no be counted in case you're praying with a Rosary or a prayer rope is immaterial as long as your concentration is on God. With that standards in strategies, it relatively is honest to assert that the treasury of prayers and prayer facilitates might desire to be open to all Christians. The Rosary would not "belong" fullyyt to western ceremony Catholics, and that i do no longer think of that a prayer rope or the Jesus Prayer belongs strictly to the Orthodox. there's a non secular prepare for all Christians, inspite of the reality that no longer all strategies of prayer attraction to anybody. in case you have got here across the single that brings you closer to God, i could say "choose for it."

Hi! I have no first-hand info, but I'm willing to bet there are a bunch!
If you stick with "The Lord's Prayer" I think you can't go wrong. When asked how they should pray, that is what Jesus gave to his apostles ...

As I believe that all thought is a kind of prayer... I doubt if saying the Rosary will hurt... }:>

They are not mandatory, but highly recommended.

I do not know many devout Catholics who avoid the Rosary entirely - most say it at least sometimes, because the mysteries are a great way to develop your personal faith. But it is not not mandatory.

I recently converted, and I've never said a Rosary.

I've said all the prayers that make up the Rosary, but never as a Rosary.

Nothing is mandatory, everything is your choice.
