This is what the Lord says-your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." - Isaiah 48:17
What is the real benefit of His teaching? He answers this in the next verse. "If only you had paid attention to My commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea" (Is. 48:18).
The Lord tells us that the benefit of allowing God to teach us and lead us in the way is peace and righteousness. Here is a guaranteed promise from God.
Are you trusting God with the very details of your life so that He can lead you in the way you should go? Are you allowing Him to teach you? Seek the Lord today for what He wants to teach you and allow Him to lead you, and you will ensure peace and righteousness in your life.

Again, are you enjoying the benefits of His teaching? The truth is found by the Spirits ability to teach you as you seek for it, not the doctrines of man. Beware of every new idea or revelation. We have 66 books God has preserved for our BENEFIT.

Yes... Thank you very much. I really needed to hear these words. "The Doctrine of man". Satan uses all sorts of tricks to gain control. I have been very, very confused these past couple of days reading man's doctrine on the internet.

His peace does abide in us when we are completely in tune with HIS teaching-- seeking HIS understanding and not something to relieve our own ears from men. God's teaching is all we need- and the funny thing is, IT DOES give me great JOY! And it does satisfy! I do not desire anything more, nor do I wish to keep seeking-- why would I? I am set in the truth of God's word-- grounded and rooted by His Holy Spirit- Praise be to Him!
