Moses said, 1 wife for one man

Jesus said, one wife for one man also as moses told you before already

He also aid not to sdtone women and amended upon the law of moses

so if he is a prophet

how come to some muslim communities his words have no meaning

and why did muhammed preach a totally different message with regards to polygamy and revert back to saying adultery is punishable by death?

the porphets before have adhered to one another, or improved on the message of the following prophets
jesus agreed with moses, but said only God can judge you of your sin, do put down your stones

so where did mohammed get the authority to say, pick up your stones again?

Bloooz

you never heard of: let he who is without sin cast the first stone!!!!!

Moses fetched the 10 commandments, they are still valid today

The jews had the levitical law, that is done away with

Which is why Jesus did not let them stone her,

thanks

Soloman came to the relaization that concubines were not a good thing

so spent many years writing the psalms in which he talks about how he should have just had one wife

And he did not adhere to the law of moses which said one woman for one man

that was the law, but the kings did not adhere to it

neither did muhammed

If you don't beleive or adhere to any other prophet then why do you call them prophets?

All the other prophets over a 1000 year period agree with ewach other, except muhammed the odd one out, why do you think that is?

Dueteronomy:

He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.

New testament:

Matthew 19:

haven't you read,
" he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'[]

and said,

'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'[?

So they are no longer two, but one.

Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

sounds pretty clear to me

If god is not a fan of it why is muhammed?

If you dont want moses as a prophet

and you dont want jesus as a prophet why do you call them prophets

why not make up your own law and do your own thing like marry multiple women,

oh i see you already do

Could you kindly give us refernce, where did Moses and Jesus recommended monogamy. Monogamy is invention of christian-pagan alliance. Before chrsitianity, monogamy never existed in this world in wider scale.

I must have missed the passage about Moses saying 1 wife to one man. Prophets Abraham, Joseph, David and Solomen had multiple wives. Solomon claimed more than 1,000 wives and concubines. Ummm, not married, I guess that makes Solomon an adulterer.

Muhammad preached a continuation of the Old Testament. While the New Testament was known to Muhammad and the Arab World, Christianity was not yet accepted, nor was it either yet in the Roman World. Muhammad taught One God without equal or heirs. The New Testament had not yet been codified by Emperor Constitine so was only makeshift pieces of scrolls. Muhammad accepted Jesus as a prophet but not as a son of god as that would be a blasphemy and contrary to the Ten Commandments.

Under Islam, all prophets are equal. A prophet is simply an inspired messenger of God. The first prophet was Adam and the last Muyammad. Jesus in the Quran is calles Isa. And yes, Muslims believe that Isa will return to rule over the earth with another Islamic counterpart called the Mahdi. And while hell faces every unrepetent sinner. Islam believes that Christians, Jews, Buddhists and all other religions will become Muslims and enter Paradise. Even Satan or as called in Islam, the Iblis, will eventually return to God's grace and mercy.
]
Islam recognizes the Torah, Old and New Testaments as inspired writings from God. They do not believe the books infallible as they have been rewritten and translated many times and no writings by actual prophets or direct transcriptions. The Quran was believed the final inspired Book. All authorized Qurans contain the original Aribic writing along with the language translation. Five original copies of the Quran exist. All 5 told to scribes by Muhammad. Those 5 copies are still consulted for all subsequent printings of Qurans. By the way, much of the current Bible was translated by Muslim scholars during the 14th and 15th Centuries. I think some mischief may have been done by them as it was at this time that the Moors were expelled from Spain and Europe.

Islam is a religion of peace. It is sad that practictioners of Islam become militant and hostile. Those people should not be confused with the religion or representative of them. Much of this hostility dates to tribal warfare, hostility with the Jews and especially the invasions by Christians commonly known as the Crusades. Neither was Islam spread so much by the sword as you may have heard. Islam was spread mainly by the fact that a Muslim could not own a Muslim slave nor a Muslim be a slave to anyone. So conversion to Islam often meant freedom. Also, non Muslims were made to pay a 10% tax under their rule. Much better rates than the 40 to 60% taxes Christians were made to pay to European rulers.

The Kabbah, the Islamic center of worship in Mecca is said to be the original temple built by the Prophet Abraham and rebuilt and restored by Muhammad. It has a black stone reported sent from heaven was white but sin on earth turned it black. I knew a workman that waas priviliged to enter the Kabbah for repair work. The outside is stone. The inside is aromatic cedar wood. There are wood benches for sittind, candles for light and a one of the original 5 copies of the Quran.

Moses and Jesus never said those things. Even according to the Old Testament, most of the Old Testament Prophets are polygamous. Abraham had more than one wife, Jacob had two wives and two concubines, David had one hundred wives, and Solomon is even said to have had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

Edit:

FYI, Muslims do not recognize the bible as it is now as the true word of God or even the true words of Moses and Jesus. It contains some of the original true scripture but most of it has been changed over the years or lost. Only God knows which parts are still intact. Quran is the only remaining true unchanged word of God.

No but in Islam as Muslims we believe Prophet Muhamed (saw) brought Islam to the people so he is seen as an important Prophet but we do belive and follow and respect the instructions of the othr prophets aswell but you are viewing it in a Christian perspective and saying what you belive was said by the prophet Moses (p.b.u.h) and Jesus (p.b.u.h) you are using what the Bible says and using it to contradict the Prophet (saw) which is totaly wrong as Muslims do not follow the and genrally belive in the Bible we follow the Holy Book the Qu'ran which we belive tells us the truth of life and creation and all the other prophets as well as the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) we follow the Qu'ran and if you want to know more about Islam read it before you try and contradict our Prophet again using your own incorrect beliefs. And yeah only God can judge us for our sins but without a punishment in this world what is actually going to stop us doing it again aand actually help us learn from our mistakes?

If Jesus is real, he condones stoning women.
Check your old testament for many stonings. The OT is endorsed by Jesus in Matthew 5:17

Jesus said "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." Here "the law" refers to the Old Testament.

I don't understand how a person can say that the New Testament is valid but the Old Testament is not. If you accept the NT, then why do so many people overlook Matthew 5:17?

edit: lol Johnny! Does that mean since Jesus is without sin that he is entitled to cast the first stone?

Solomon had over 100 wives. Each prophet came with the same message and amended laws that MAN had originally changed. Each prophet got the authority from God.

And what about prophet Abraham and how he is portrayed in the current day bible as an adulterer? They claim his wife Hajjar was a concubine!

Don't you people ever get it

why Muslims are Muslims not Christians or whatever (not insulting any religion)?

Because Muslims don't believe in making changes in Qur'an. we believe in all that which is same in Bible as in Qur'an. How can you prove that all what you are saying is not added by someone else than Moses and Easa or Jesus (peace be upon them).

when people can change their names, skin color etc. so what makes you think they will spare Bible.

Most people don't even know that Jesus is not Jesus but Easa and original bible is not bible and its not in English.

i can say more but your little brain will not get what I'm saying

Stoning of women who committed adultery may have no religious bearing. It was the ancient cultural practice of people from pre-historic times.
Stoning and abusing women is NOT an Islamic law. It's political.
