If it's a hard cheese (cheddar, gouda, parmesan, etc.), you can. If it's soft cheese (brie, feta, cream cheese) you shouldn't.

sure you can. just remove the part that has the mold on it. As cheese ages it molds. The mold is removed before packaged and sold. This is how chedder gets its flavor - mild, medium, sharp. extra sharp.

Yuppers! Sure can! I do it all the time. I actually think that is how blue cheese is made.. it's the mould that gives it that pungent taste (although I don't like it.. some people love it!)

yes , by law( in restuarant) you have to cut out arounr about 1 inch and deep. at home just cut out the bad spot
