My troops voted as per my instructions:
"Vote for the candidate of your choice."
In general the military tends to vote Republican and the antics of the Democratic party are turning the troops into hard-core Republicans.

They vote with absentee ballots from the city / state of their residence. And since we have secret ballots, there is no official record... polls show though that the military tends to vote strongly Republican.
I voted in 3 presidential elections during my time in service... always by absentee ballot and always for a Republican Presidential Candidate. I have voted a mixed ticket though...

90% of the troops in Iraq voted REPUBLICAN,
that is why Gore did not want the overseas ballots counted!!!!!!!!!!
