I've gained about 6-7 lbs. since the last 2yrs. 5' 9" 175 lbs. I used to drink a lot of milk but cut back because of the weight gain, could it be because I'm not getting that protein?

You could trry more protein, But if your hormones are lower because of age, this might not work. Also you don' want to get more protein than your body-kidneys can handle. Go see your doctor and be checked out.

you probably dont get pumped because you get bored of doing the workout all the time. Try also listening to music and increase the weight

I'm assuming your a guy....if so have you had your testosterone checked? It naturally begins to decrease at 35 years of age. Both my dad and husband had this checked and it made all the difference!

no i don't think its the lack of protien i think your just getting older and your body is slowing down now. but you can try protein shakes if you want to.....but i don't think thats going to help your problem. your body is going to take all the extra protein you get and just turn it into fat anyways.
