i had some work done on my car,the battery was disconnected and i do not have the code,?

how do i retrieve the code number any ideas welcomed many thanks

Usually the code for the radio is on a card that comes with the documentation when you buy the car. Look in your owner manual.

If you don't have the card, for a Honda anyway - you take the radio's serial number to a Honda dealer along with proof of ownership for the car (title or registration and ID) they can provide the code.

its usually in your owners manuel if not then you could take the radio out and get the serial number its usually on top take it to the dealer along with proof of ownership for the car registration and ID its going to cost you but they will give you the code for it or you could just take it to them to have them pull it out i think they charge around 30 dollars unless they jacked up the price good luck
