I think the US is indeed very racist. Compared to other countries that are very warm and loving. Mexico would never tell all the Americans to leave. I think things are going back to slavery days, and Hispanics are the new blacks. But it's just to show you that the worlds going down slowly but surely.

Plus if it was as easy as people made it seem to become legal then people wouldn't come over here illegally. You think people like running across the border with the dangers of gettin killed, dehydrated, and even left to die alone in the desert. Not something i would do for the heck of it. Why don't some Americans try sneaking into Mexico: Not rational. Why would they do it if they could get in legally right??? Thanks

What are you talking about? Europeans can get through the border like nothing? Are you talking about Europeans going to other European countries? Yeah, they have some open border countries, a little thing called the EU, hello? If you are talking about the Euros getting into America to work so easily, you're wrong. Yeah, I'm sure you have been to Mexico and have seen the difference. Have you seen the difference between how Mexico treats an illegal as opposed to us? If not, take another trip ( not the acid trip you're on). You come here the legal way, heads up, you break the law and become an illegal sucking the system dry, forcing us to pay for your free lunch, damn straight you should be booted back post-haste, tails down.

Why did we invent immigration laws? To not apply them?

We need to be in control, we need to limit excessive immigration from certain nations

The more we wait on this (the more we debate instead of actually closing the borders and cracking down) the more the US will be indeed prejudiced against south nations. ideally the issue is fixed for 2008

Europe is similar. Have you heard about Jean Marie Le Pen making it once to the 2nd round of French elections? Do you know that Sarko (a milder version) is currently cracking down?

Is France racist? No. It's just protecting its borders

Not at all. In the past were too relaxed with border control, but due to 9/11 we learned we must be tougher. It is not racist at all. It would be racist if we only thought someone from the middle east could be up to no good. We are now treating all the same. There is nothing wrong with that

So its racist to want our laws obeyed? We have legal means to become a citizen all we ask is that everyone comes legally and pays their own way. The United States has immigration laws just like every other nation in the world why is it that we should not be allowed to enforce them?

Our taxpayers are paying for health care and education for an estimated 12 million people who are NOT citizens, meanwhile many of our own people do not have basic health coverage..... How about we send you the bills for all these services, is that fair enough?

What border can Europeans get across?! I don't see the Dutch swimming all the way across the Atlantic to America, do you? Hey, tell you what if you have no problem letting 10 other people live at you're place, without paying rent or electricity and so on, go ahead. I don't. If I don't want foreigners coming here ILLEGALLY and taking my job and then complain that they don't get constitutional rights granted to UNITED STATES citizens, I don't think that registers as racist.

Nope, not racist. If you are crossing the border LEGALLY then no problem. The problem is all of those who are ILLEGALLY coming into this country. Personally I think that its a slap in the face to all of those who come to this country legally and follow the proper procedures and do what they are supposed to do that all of these people come here illegally. And then they come here illegally and complain about being treated like crap and having no rights. Criminals don't get rights and if you are breaking the law you are a criminal, simple as that.

Are you serious? The only people being deported are the ones that come here ILLEGALLY. They are breaking the law and are a drain on our society. They use our hospitals and schools for free and fill up our jails all the while not paying taxes so citizens and legal immigrants have to pick up the tab. Why don't you go and read a little about the southern Mexican border? It is one of the most secure in the world. They will not let anybody from central or southern America across because they don't want to deal with what we are having to deal with, that is ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

It's not being racist, and it's certainly not unfair. Here in America we inforce laws rather then break them. If they don't like the way they are treated while committing crime then they can remain in the country in which they were born in.

You've got some twisted theories...

There is no attempt on our part to be fair to anybody but our own citizens and honestly I am quite pisssed off at Mexico for sending us their garbage. The people of this country have worked to make it into something for ourselves and our posterity and don't care to have it trashed by criminal trespassers. It may not be fair but that's the way it is! Frankly we don't CARE if it's fair.

Further I resent being called racist. Mexican is not a race. Illegal alien is not a race. Latino is not a race. Hispanic is not a race. So stop calling us racist.

Europeans have to fly or take a ship to get here and they are primarily here for vacation, not work. If they try to stay illegally, they get booted out too. My English friend had a heck of a time just getting a temporary work visa to come here through a ligitimate company. It's difficult for everyone who is illegal. There are just a lot more Mexican immigrants because it is easier to get here and they have more motive because the economy is not as good in their home country. My English friend came to work here because that is where the job brought him, not because he wanted more pay. He gets paid more in England.
