The Federal Minimum Wage increases to $7.25/hr over the next two years. It went from $5.15 to $5.85 on July 24, 2007 and will jump again to $6.55 on July 24, 2008 and then to $7.25 July 24. 2009.

In California, it's going up on Jan 1, 2008.

Depends on where you live - many states have higher minimum wages that the federal. If your state goes by the federal, ellymae gave you the answer.
