I'm agnostic, but I dated a fundie Christian once, although I didn't know he was a fundie when I met him.
I probably wouldn't do it again, because he was constantly saying things like, "Oh, you just haven't found the right church yet."
If someone could respect my beliefs, it might be different ... but I can't understand how someone could believe that their significant other was destined for hell and never say anything about it. So that kind of throws it out the window.

I'm a Christian, and I would date atheists. I have in the past. I would not, most likely, date a fundie.

I'm a Christian. Don't know if I'm really a "fundie."
I don't date An Atheist because I don't think he would be motivated by the same goals as I would be.
Couples find enough to argue about, without having spiritual beliefs enter into it.

I am married to a fundie. We just don't talk about it much. The kids have gone to Sunday school but I have also included them in my rituals. We leave it up to them.
And if my husband and I can make it work I don't understand why we cant all just get along.

I would date a tolerant, open-minded Christian ~ and have done so ~ but I would not date a fundie.

I met a Christian who would never even consider missing a church service even though she had to walk almost three miles each way to church , since she was a little girl .
That was almost sixty years ago . No two people in this world could possibly be closer and love each other more than we do .

I would be extra careful using only safe sex practices since statistically fundies have a high level of STI due to a low level of education.

This Christian would follow the advise given in the Bible and not yolk herself to any non- believer.
