I will not list them, but here is a link to a map with the states in red that have no income tax.

I am guessing they find a way into your wallet some other way, such as property tax or sales tax. Here is a very good site for general state taxes...http://www.retirementliving.com/RLtaxes.html Just Google it!

None. All states levy taxes of one type or another.

A few have no income tax but make up for that with higher taxes on other items, especially property taxes. New Hampshire has no income tax on earned income or sales tax but property taxes there are insanely high. Other states without income taxes such as FL and TX have high sales taxes and very high property taxes.

Virtually every jurisdiction levies property taxes in the US as they are generally the primary and often sole source of local government funding.

Texas and Tennessee don't have state income taxes. I'm sure that there are many others. I don't know of any that don't have some form of property tax. Texas makes up for its lack of income tax by racking up the price of property tax. My opinion, you are going to pay one way or another. The best place to live may not be the cheapest.

I have not heard of a state in the USA that has property taxes. Usually property taxes are city and county.

Last I checked the following states didn't have state income taxes:

Alaska
Florida
Texas
Nevada
New Hampshire
Tennessee
Wyoming

I've been told that Washington and South Dakota also may not have state income taxes (is Mount Rushmore bringing in that much tourist income?). As far as property taxes, I've never seen anything to indicate that they are not levied anywhere within the US.

In some states you even have personal property tax on vehicles, boats, and/or motorhomes. NC and SC currently have personal property taxes.
