God will make straight your paths!
As the prophet Isaiah wrote in his book, "A voice cries out in the desert: 'Prepare the way for the Lord! Make his paths straight!"
Christians are not unaware of or untouched by the sadness, the suffering and the pain in human lives.
God causes His "rain to fall on the just and the unjust". Sorrow, pain and distress fall on the good folks, in this sin-cursed world, as well as on evil doers.
Yet "we must fly right", what-ever befalls us, as the "salt" needed! We must be the very opposite of the sad "lost" ones.
We must make St. Paul's words our own: "Every time I pray for all of you, I pray with joy..."
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" (Prov. 3:5-6).
Aren’t you affected when your kids talk with you? Of course you are. So is God. He is the perfect parent as well as the powerful creator. And the Bible teaches that God is affected when His people pray. Talk to Him now!!!
