This question is like asking someone how they will feel when they realize that Santa is real. It won't happen so the question is moot. I could ask you how you will feel when you realize that you have wasted your life on a belief that is false, but you won't feel anything. You will be dead.

I won't feel anything because I'll be F-in dead and the fact that there is no chance in the world that there is that many god's and so many different religions. First off, how about that crazy religion that Tom "i smoke crack" Cruise is in sciencetology, also there is a jedi religious group. Also why would Heaven be any better than being here on Earth if there is any God's why do they allow there followers to kill people and suffer, religion is the cause of all evil, it causes death, suffering and upset. Religion is worse than worshipping the Devil, you never hear about a war caused by satanist, it's always religions, so you are all as bad and you will all realise there is no place such as heaven or hell!!!

What if the god that really exists sends all good people to heaven and all bad people to hell except people who pretended to know for a fact another god existed? then all good atheists are going to heaven but YOU ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL. Why not repent when you still have time? Why risk eternity in hell?
And how can you worship a sadistic god that tortures good people - most of the people who ever lived - for all eternity?
Pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

Boy am I catching a nice big whiff of JC's 'Holier Than Thou' here...maybe you should cut back on that a little, cause it stinks. This is just pascal's wager dressed up in a little sanctimonious condescension.
Here's one for you...supposing that we *were* created by a more powerful being, how does that make the case for Christianity? It doesn't, unless you're ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY SURE that the being that created us all just so happens to also be the Christian god. Maybe it's somebody else's god? You sure don't know, so where do you get off making idiotic claims like "there is more evidence towards creation than anything else, therefore more reasonable to believe Christianity than not." Try reading that to yourself aloud, and listen to just how stupid you sound.

Since I don't believe in Hell I'm not worried about it. I can't conceive of a deity that is supposed to be all knowing and all loving but sends people to hell for not worshipping it. You go ahead and believe in that if you want though. I'll join you when you can show me some compelling proof or evidence of the beliefs you choose to hold on faith because you were told to.

What a stupid question, seriously. It's as if I asked you how you'll feel when it turns out that the Buddhists were right, and you're reincarnated as an amoeba due to the bad karma you accumulated in this life by being such a religious bigot. (No offense to Buddhist- or amoeba-Americans. Yes, I'm aware that I'm misrepresenting the concept of karma - for sarcasm's sake!)
We don't believe in your brand of mythology. Your supernatural scare-tactic threats do not work on rational people. Sorry that it irritates you that not everybody in the world group-thinks with your cult, and that you have to cling to this fantasy of Big Brother Jesus coming soon to beat up all the kids who disagree with you; but that's the case. Deal with it.

You know that Heaven and Hell is a reality, however, how can it be proved to someone who has never felt the compassion that is ever abundant here today. Most people judge the self professed Godly, because we are weak and refuse to admit our shortfalls. We hold ourselves up to some higher standard, when in fact we fall short just like the characters in the bible. Part of my job here on earth is to encourage, go to my group and join up Ineedalift, or email me at gilesco777. Both at yahoo, and I will be happy to further express my views....

Why do you care about what other people believe? I'm not an athiest nor do I know any but you obviously don't care what happens to them..Get over it not everyone can believe the same thing as everyone else..Just let it alone. You aren't gonna change anyones mind, if anything your gonna show them why they don't wanna be involved with people like you

you seem to be under the illusion that athiests hate christianity- wrong- we dont believe in any religion not just yours but we dont hate you. if christianity is right then good luck to you and enjoy heaven, we will have a long time in hell but our lifestyle is what we chose it to be. we dont want you to convert into an athiest because to be honest we dont care, why do we need to "save" you- its down to you to live a peaceful fulfilled life thats called conscience. do all christians truly believe athiests are crazed serial killers. im a paramedic i really have saved others

And what if your interpretation of heaven is wrong and god has you acting like a slave to him?
Of course you do realize that is question smells like Pascal's Wager.
There is no indisputable proof that heaven and hell exist.

How about we just lead the lives we lead, most of us good, at let it be? Why should I waste my life "just in case"? I am not going to live my life in fear. I make choices because I think they are right for me and my family, not because someone/something thinks I should do it. I do many thing that your church would be appauled by, but to me there is nothing wrong with it.
You keep praying to your god in the hopes that one day you will be rewarded and I will live my life, rewarded everyday with the love of my family.
