if we can do this
we could live like 20 years longer
untill our cells stop deviding
cause every time our cells devide a little of the info of the dna is lost (at the end of the string)
now when we live to long
more of that info gets lost
and we die
unless we cure the cancers that are formed and we increese the natural protection on the ends of the dna strings
but that isn't eazy

anyone that answers
i would like a date
explanation optisional

I have had cancer before. It sucks. It feels like someone is sucking out your soul. Through my treatment, I tried to stay positive, that there will be a cure someday. I really believe that cancer will be cured, just like terrorism, and racism will be cured. But i'm not sure if I will be living, I probably be like 80 years old or something. Although I still have cancer, I go through treatments and pray.......a lot!

My guess: 2070 is when there will be a break through, the chinese will probably figure it out first. They are so much smarter.

No one can tell you when the cure for Cancer will be found.Day by day new types of medicines and treatment techniques are found at the same time, new cancers are also cropping up. Lung cancer, Breast Cancer and Cervix cancer alone account more than 60% of the cancer deaths in the world. the balance % is claimed by the balance of more than 200 varieties of cancer claim.

So unless some positive research is successfully found no date can be given. -

that is an ongoing process. There are many, many, many scientific researches going on around the world in the process of finding a cure for Cancer... So far there are only a certain kinds of treatments to prolong the cancer or have it surgically removed altogether. The options vary depending on the type of cancer you have and the severity.

How can you possibly expect anyone to give you a date when cancer will be cured.
Medicine is not an exact science anyway.
I still feel that genetics is the answer, but altering genes is not simple. Genes do more than one job so until scientists have worked out exactly what gene does which job we will just have to wait.
