Christians are a human beings of the e book, a life-style based on the training of a e book 1000's of years previous. The Bible consists of some sexist feedback, mostly by utilising Paul. i think he says the husband is the top of the spouse, lady shouldn't talk in church, females could placed on their heads coated, females should not be the lecturers of adult adult males. If Christians are followers of the divinely inspired be conscious, would not that mean that Christians are sexist?

Those Christians who are fundamentalists and take the Bible literally could be considered sexist in their viewpoints, yes.

I don't think they're actively trying to be sexist. They just confuse the misogynistic 'opinions' of St. Paul with the words of their God ... so therefore, in their minds, the set roles for men and women are divinely sanctioned, and not sexism.

The feminists would think so. But we're not. Men have their roles and we women have ours. Christians who understand the bible have a deep appreciation for the differences of the "sexes."

If they are, they are living in error.
Jesus frequently modelled inclusion and women's rights - he broke through the cultural and religious barriers of his day to publicly speak with women, and he allowed women to eat with him and be among his followers.
He also spoke to a woman of a different ethnicity (Samarian woman at the well) which defied the Jewish practices of his day, as well.
This simply wasn't DONE at the time!
So if we were to follow the example of Christ, we would be neither sexist nor racist.
And then there is also this fromGalatians 3:27-29 (King James Version), Public Domain.
27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

they just cherry pick for what they want....however i bet theres a stong corolation between christianity and women not being able to vote until the last few decades.
as well as banning abortion and other such rights of women, i beleive in a christian nation, women are second class citizens and thats kinda sick.
id like to add that for christians its kinda like the "one step forwards, two steps back" situation. so feel encouraged your winning, even if its just inch by inch.

The Bible says that we are all equal, however, wifes must submit to their husbands. That doesn't mean lower themselves to us, it just means to submit. This isn't being sexist.

Well . . . . let's see.
n.
1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
2. Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender.

Yes. I am anyway.
You see, I recognize that some things are for boys, and some things are for girls. They tend to be born different too, in case you haven't noticed. Sometimes I base my decisions on whether I am talking to a girl or a boy.
Don't you see a difference? I can, and I'm Bi. So I don't understand why people have to be so undiscriminating.
verb (used without object)
1. to make a distinction in favor of or against a person or thing on the basis of the group, class, or category to which the person or thing belongs rather than according to actual merit; show partiality: The new law discriminates against foreigners. He discriminates in favor of his relatives.
2. to note or observe a difference; distinguish accurately: to discriminate between things.
