then he could not have been a perfect sacrifice and all would have gone to hell if they sinned.
Glad my God is able

If Jesus had faltered or sinned only once, even in thought, Satan would have won the controversy and all would have been lost. It would have meant the destruction of the universe. The fate of the whole universe was at stake! That is why there was much rejoicing in Heaven and throughout immensity when, just before He died, Jesus said, "It is finished."
At that moment, Satan knew that he had lost the war and that he could no longer claim the title of prince of this world. Since then he has been concentrating all his efforts upon the earth to deceive as many as he possibly can. His hatred for God and Christ is implacable. Knowing that the children of earth are the objects of God's tenderest love and mercy, he brings as much pain and sorrow as possible in this world. And on top of that, he makes sure that mankind thinks that God is responsible for all of it!

Jesus did Sin; it was Christ whom did not.
Sin is the Self to the exclusion of others and the whole; in short, when we put ourselves first, before all others and the whole, as in "collective consciousness" of God, this is Sin.
Jesus was the man. Jesus was many men at many different times; this was originally documented with early Christian groups such as the Ebionites, Samaritans, Elkasaites, Nazarites ect; it is fuirther documented within the Clementine Homilies that Jesus was a reincarnate of other men.
All of the above groups were met with Dis-favor as that truth did not work well within "Modern Christian Doctrine". Christian Doctrine required membership to survive; those members weres imply told, and "shown" that the bible reads Jesus is the "only son of God" and you must believe this or face Hell (hell then takes on a purgatory-fiery image, and changes time and again).
What the Church hid, or did not believe, was that Jesus was the first Christ and ALL mankind shall follow in those very steps, eventually, as not one personality is ever lost, ever.
Religion was the Original Devil teaching many- false lies that 'SALVATION" was only aquired at ONE single religious point, CHRISTIANITY.
Jesus was not Christian, but Jew, and the jews would not accept his Truth.
Jesus came and died many-many times as a man and was seen as many different personalities; the documentation, Again, is incontrovertable.
Jesus (Issa, as Jesus is a Latin interpretation of the personality) Sinned for many-many-many lifetimes and learned the very lessons you are learning now.
Jesus became "Christ" in his final lifetime
(0 AD). He was percieved by mankind as the Christ and is the First of mankind to ascend to God Spiritualy opening those doors that allowed him, Jesus, to become the Christ.
Finding God is not about a physical search, but a Spiritual one. The primary obstical between God and man is......drum roll....."The devil."
The devil being a symbolic name for the "self", or selfishness, placing oneself before all others separates God and Mankind. In the works of Jesus, the man, we see how be became the Christ. Again, this was domne in countless lifetimes.
This is a huge hidden secret from which the Churches have managed to keep away from many.

Jesus simply would not (did not) sin. Jesus is fully human (therefore was tempted), but also fully divine (unable to sin). And, God wouldn't need to "cross his fingers" - God knows all and He knew that Jesus would not sin.

We would be screwed, for all eternity.
Because Jesus would not have been a "spotless Lamb," and therefore not a perfect sacrifice.
Yes it was possible for Jesus to sin - even Satan knew it would be possible for Jesus (fully human and fully God) to sin, which is why he tried to tempt him with power and food when Jesus was fasting in the desert.

I don't believe, that perfection is possible on this earth. So, if Jesus did sin it would not take away the great good his message has done for this world, and the great good that people who connect with his spirit right now get from him. I am sure that the moral mistake Jesus may have made were small, and that he learned very fast to not repeat them.

I have considered this.
The chance that God took by coming to earth as a human was astronomical.
Had Jesus sinned, we, as the entire race of humans would be lost. Jesus would have died immediately. God and sin cannot abide one another. As soon as the fleshly body of Jesus was in contact with God, God could no longer live in it.
God would have ceased to exist because He had made Himself subject to a human body.
What an awesome thing God did for us!!!!!!!!!
He placed Himself in a human body, suffering all that can be suffered with one. Allowed That Body to be tortured and killed for our sin, AND took the chance that He could cease to exist, all because He loves us and wants us to choose Him!!!!
HOW AWESOME IS THAT??!!!??

Interesting....
The devil put special effort into tempting Jesus, so lucifer at least thought that Jesus was capable of sin.
Personally, I don't think that anyone can be virtous if they have no choice; it isn't "abstinance" if you have no dating prospects. If you ascribe to that view, then Jesus's sinless-ness would have been meaningless -unless- he could have slipped.
Perhaps, if Jesus had faltered, God would have turned him into an ordinary human and then tried again with another son.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice without sin without spot or blemish. If this wasn't true then Jesus who was our perfect atonment for sins wouldn't of been able to take the punishment of sin for mankind. If that was the case then our faith and christianity as we believe and know it would be useless.
but we know different that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice without sin without spot or blemish that Jesus did fulfill the requirements to be that perfect sacrifce for all mankind.

that was impossible as Jesus was 100% man, but 100% God, thus making it impossible for Him to sin... He was tempted by satan himself, but never sinned.....
