It depends. Sometimes the collection agency is lax in reporting it to the bureaus.
To be on the safe side, you should probably send a copy of the paid bill to each bureau with a letter asking them to update your reports. Legally, they have 30 days to correct your report and send you and updated copy.

It changes when that creditor sends it's info to the credit reporting agencies, which is usually once a month and the date depends on the creditor. So it could take up to 30 days but could be less. If you don't see it in 30 days I'd start asking questions.

yes i agree with them..30 days to a couple of months, all depends on when the creditor/collection agency reports the account paid to the bureau(s)...

also, go online and dispute the accounts if doesn't happen in a month or 2 and let them know that the account has been paid in full or by settlement...they are good at checking into it.

if it is in your file w/ the creditor/collection agency then the bureau will update your information for you

Once it is paid thay can report it up to 7 years as a PAID debt. If you have something that was to be removed as in falsely reported that can take 30-45 days. But GOOD or bad... they report for 7 years... so 7 years to the date that it was CLOSED.

It depends on how soon the creditor reports it to the credit agencies - generally within 30 days.
