Hi I'm up for a job with a new radio station and the "interview" was actually a dinner meeting that lasted about 3hrs and went very well.
I followed up the next day with a thank-you email, and he mentioned that it would likely be a few weeks until he was up to speed on the new station so if I didn't hear from him not to worry that he would be in touch.

Well it's been two weeks since our meeting and I'm getting a little anxious. Should I do a follow-up call to reiterate my interest and see if they might have a time line?

Thanks all!

Yes. It shows your continued interest in the job and it keeps you on their radar.

Yes, place a follow-up call. If the person was truthful, and I'm sure he was, then he's probably inundated with business and information. A simple follow-up call will place you back in front of him, so to speak. It will remind him of you, show that you are still interested in the position.

1 follow-up call is not a deal-breaker. It's when you place several when you start walking into "Fatal Attraction" territory!

Good Luck!

Sure call him or send an email just letting him know that you are still available and interested.
