not really - the jews have apostatized from the original teachings and doctrine given to adam, enoch, noah, abraham, isaac, jacob, moses, etc. by the time the Savior was born, the jews had many sects and lost many plain & precious truths, doctrines & ordinances -- this is one of the reasons so few accepted Jesus as the Messiah -- they were looking for a warrior messiah who would save them from their enemies, not a spiritual messiah who would save them from their sins. God is the same, whether in the Old Testament, New Testament or today. There is one way by which man may return to the presence of God and that is through the atoning sacrifice of his Son and following the doctrines and performing the necessary ordinances [like baptism].
All that having been said, Mormons are challenged to find truth everywhere - and there are seeds among judaism, hinduism, etc. I find additional perspective from understanding the belief systems of other religions.

Mormons believe that the church is a restoration of the original church of God, aka the jewish faith with the changes that Christ brought about when he came to the earth and fulfilled the Mosaic law. So yeah since we believe our church is the same original church I would say it has been influenced big time by the Jewish religion.

We believe that all churches have some truth and that the jewish faith is missing the doctrine of the New Testament and the rest of christianity is missing the doctrine after the restoration, along with incorrectly interpreting a few of the original doctrines.

Well we do believe that we are the same church as Christ's primitive Church- At the time of Christ and before his birth, Jews were believers in Christ. Yeah but really ALL of Christianity was influenced by the Jewish religion. Modern Day Christians are followers of Christ- Ancient Jews were followers of Christ.

Edit
Ok JesusSaves- you really need to learn your history. Sidney Rigdon did not even hear about the church until 8 months after the BOM was published. It was only after he joined that he met Joseph Smith. Sidney Rigdon Lived in Ohio- Joseph Smith lived in Upstate New York, It really would have been impossible for there to be that kind of scheme.
