What makes you think that we were ever "overturned"? The pagan world is still out there and we are going strong.
And just a little food for thought...
Why is it that all of your Christan holidays fall on or close to ours. If you don't understand my question ask your pastor or father.

they are christians. its what they do, its what they've always done. they made it 'evil' to be pagan. it was a threat to them, at one time.
there's a theory about bible storys being written by pagan (or by a pagan like people) as a warning about the way of christian life. of course sense, they would have been a little 'tweeked'. there were people 'inslaving' normal folk to do their dirty work while they sat on their buts. they told them it was okay, they would be rewarded when they die. as if the people's lives were not a reward in itself. and as it spread people revolted and tried to stop it (all the way up to the 'new world' and still) and now there are starving people in third world countries.. they gave them tvs and bibles and told them to stop teaching their children 'how' to live. instead of just leaving them be, on their land they lived off sense the begining.
it's sad. very sad that no one really knows how to live, and so many think their lives here are only a 'test'.
for the pagan's who posted, saying it's still around. i think it's awesome that you hold on to the beliefs and customs! (im not being sarcastic!!) i'm just saying that living the way pagans did years and years ago cant happen, and there is a lot of the culture lost because of that.
