I have a terriffic bf that I am totally in love with and I don't want to break up with him but 2 of my friends won't talk to me b/c they don't think I should date him for reasons. Please give me some advice.

He does drugs but not a lot and he treats me real good.

Ok sweet heart..here's my opinion. Never believe what friends or rumors say. Your the only person who's opinion matters in this situation or any situation. Lets talk for an example You believe what they say and you dump him and you find out later that they were wrong..you just let a dimond in the rough go. He could be the one later down the road. My other question is how long have you known you're friends? And do u think ur b/f is worth ur friends not talking to u? Personally i wouldn't give a hoot bout what friends are saying i have a great guy now and a friend is saying stuff bout him but i can't let that come between him and myself and if it bothers u talk to ur friends and tell them how u feel. i hope this advice helps u.

From my experience, you friends usually see the things you won't want to see or acknowledge. Does he physically hurt you or disrespect you in public? Does he try to control you? Is he a jerk to everyone else but you? Is he a big liar? If these are friends you have known for a while, I would take their thoughts into consideration. If these friends are important to you and they don't know him very well, try to get them to meet him. However if these aren't friendships you really value and you feel they don't know you or him very well, stick with your man.

what are the reasons your friends don't want you with him? sometimes they can see things in a relationship that are hard to see yourself. if their reasons have something to do with how he treats you or they think he is wrong for you, listen and see what you think. other than that, if you feel you are in love with him and are happy, tell them that. they should respect your feelings and want you to be happy as well. good luck

If your friends have there own relations then let them control theirs. If so friends are usually happy if you are!
