With some men and women.....it's every time their lips move....with that said...you have ask this question because you question him... is he looking u in the eyes when he speaks to u? Does he fidget when u talk? Answer directly or hesitate? Those are just some things to look for....there are many many others...

1) they can't maintain eye contact
2) their eyes will look up and to the left ( his left - your right)
3) their voice pitch will get higher (not louder.. higher)
4) they will consistently do one thing EVERYtime they lie (look for it) - for some its their nostrils fairing, others it may be an itch or double blink.. look for what he does.
5) the explanation will NOT be simple like (I overslept) it will be complex (I overslept, my dog got out, I didn't have hot water, couldn't find my keys)
6) he will talk FAST with a lot of "ummms", "errs", "ahhhs" inserted because his lips are moving faster than his brain.
7) when casually asked about it again after a couple of days... his answer will be different.
this goes for women too btw... men are not the only folks who don't tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The question you have to ask yourself is.... is it REALLY the whole truth you want?

You can usually tell. they either rush in to their answer and have lots of ummms and ahhhs to think what they gonna say next and there is no eye contact or they go really slow to make sure they say everything right. Its real obvious when my boyfriend lies to me. It shines through his face.Lucky for me the only lies he gives me are if he was at the pub or the gym.. hehe x

Watch his eyes. If you ask him something and he looks up to the right (his right, your left), it means he's recalling it from memory so he's probably telling the truth. If he looks up to the left (his left, your right) he's probably lying. If he's talking to you and he doesn't look you right in the eye he's probably lying or just being shy/nervous. Or he feels guilty about something. Watch his body language!! If you feel like he's lying, he probably is!!

I agree and I'm a guy. However I also think that women don't really want to know every single thing that goes on in our heads.
