Bible thumpers are always that way.... judgemental, cold and indifferent to the feelings and beliefs of others. Plus they want to shove all their religious baloney down our throats.
You can't control your sister's personality. So, best to accept her and move on.

My family doesn't want to have anything to do with me but for a different reason. I am a recovering drug addict.
I got addicted to prescription drugs (chronic pain syndrome).
This happened after my four children were out and on their own.
I have been a proud member of Narcotics Anonymous for three years now.
My family is living in what was not what is.
The life I choose to live today is beyond my wildest dreams.
I have everything I need and lots of what I want.
I continue to love the kids unconditionally on a daily basis.
My family doesn't know me as I am today.
What a shame since I am certainly worth knowing!
I will pray for both our families!

Not all "bible thumpers" are that way. Sounds like your sister was that way before she found her religion. Most religions teach people to be nice to others. At least, that's what the bible teaches. The bible says that some people prove false to their religion. In other words, they profess to have certain beliefs, but they don't follow them.
You can only control yourself. If she's not nice with people, they will not want to associate with her. Just be yourself, and don't worry about her.

I am a muslim my boyfriend isn't, I come from a strict religious family and community, some of my family and the community will no longer accept me, some of them are happy to see that I am happy. I feel very torn, but I am glad to be happy, and in a relationship where I am loved and not married off to a stranger that I will have to learn to love. I am proud to be a muslim, my relogion is very important to me, so is love, and happiness. So tell your sister, be what you want to be and let others be what they want to.

Yes when some people find religion they think that they have to convert everyone to there beliefs.
They don't realize there are other views that people have.
Be kind to her. One day she may become the sister you used to know.

My family is (Anglican) Christian and I'm Buddhist & we get on just fine. We can even have civilized philosophical discussion.
But then, extremism is inconsistent with Buddhism.

Tell her...and that's another reason why you refuse to join her religion, she's proven that people in this religion are just too damn judgemental and you refuse to associate with wackos like that.
