What's being mocked are people of faith who cannot think objectively about their faith. I don't mind religious people on here who give out fully thought out answers, I actually find them very informative and interesting. They are the minority. Its the people that aren't open to discussion that drive everyone nuts and get mocked. Nothing is written in stone (except the commandments), no one can know for sure how the Bible was meant to be interpreted or translated b/c there are so many differing viewpoints. All branches of Christianity stem from different interpretations of the same book or varying translations of the same book. I feel that a person of faith should take religious readings as a guidebook, but think objectively and make it their own. There are countless interpretations of every passage, so some objectivity is required in true faith. Their are more people blindly accepting their faith than not on this site, thus the constant mocking.

If God can not be mocked, then he ISN'T being mocked on Yahoo answers. It's just you not knowing the whole plan, and making assumptions. The almighty forgetting Yahoo that kind of power is a blasphemous thought...

it would want to look. yet when I analyze this very a lot, it occurs they are likely the in basic terms ones having rather relaxing the following. do not get me incorrect, I now and again income from the to and fro with wise consumers, yet I detest the trolling, the nonsense reporting and the juvenile habit a lot that i won't be able to verify out why I save coming back. So, i wager i'm asserting this question works both strategies.

Here is what God thinks of those that mock Him:
Psalm 2 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire [a]
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together
against the LORD
and against his Anointed One. [b]
3 "Let us break their chains," they say,
"and throw off their fetters."
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 "I have installed my King [c]
on Zion, my holy hill."
7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD :
He said to me, "You are my Son [d] ;
today I have become your Father. [e]
8 Ask of me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will rule them with an iron scepter [f] ;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery."
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear
and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry
and you be destroyed in your way,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

It would to someone who doesn't respect Him. You can not mock God and get by with it. Since we live under a new covenant you probably wont be struck down instantly, but the bible tells us, you will give account of every idle word someday and then it will be too late to repent.

Well, fast n' bulbous, I don't think God meant he would administer punishment for mocking him the instant it is done, nor does it indicate we are physically incapable of mocking him... Repurcussions for mocking him will be dealt out on judgment day.

This is what happens when you quote only half of the text.
To complete the quote -"For whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap".
You are concentrating on the sowing part but have forgotten the reaping part. It takes time for the seeds to grow before a harvest can be reaped. Agreed? How about that?

Who ever said you couldn't mock anything, whether it be God or a tree or Chuck Norris or whatever? You can most certainly mock God but it kinda makes you look like a dumb a s s to be sticking it to a deity, whether you believe in Him/Her or not.

God remembers who mocks Him, and they will have to answer to Him for it (along with every other sin).
Also it means that God can not be tricked by fancy words to manipulate Him.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I think it is fairly safe to say that the mockers probably think god is imaginary.
