yes. Jesus taught more of Hell than He did Heaven.
Bill Weise has written a book, "23 Minutes in Hell" where he describes the sights and sounds of Hell when he was there in a vision.

Yes, God created hell, first & foremost in order to cast Satan & his demons into it (2 Peter 2:4). Jesus also descended into hell (1 Peter 3:18-19) to declare victory over them (Col. 2:15). Then He casts those who reject His grace (i.e. the righteousness that comes from belief in Jesus Christ as the only righteous God-Man, who lived the perfect life on our behalf, took upon Himself our sins & died on the Cross to conquer sin, death & the power of the devil forevermore) into hell (Matt.10:28; narrative Luke 16:19-31).
Those who are cast into hell are cast there for eternity (Matt.25:41; Is.66:24).
God takes no pleasure in sending humans there (Ezekiel 18:23, 32; 33:11; 2 Peter 3:9), but in order to save believers from sin, death & Satan, it's kind of necessary to separate them from those entities. It's not His fault that some people resist His Holy Spirit (who would lead them to salvation in Christ alone, the Christ who already suffered the consequences of sin for us) & insist on clinging to their "right" to sin.

No. Hell is a place that Christians have made up to try to scare people into converting.

No. It was a man made thing to keep people entrenched in the "christian" faith. Fire and brimstone came into sermons in the dark ages. Because there was plague and the church could do nothing to help people. The early church invented our version of "hell" to keep people in line.

Sure IS! Then gehenna(hell) gets thrown into the lake of fire
which is even worse. It's not on earth. Believe that Jesus Christ
is the God/Man and you won't see hell.

The Holy Bible tells us so. Jesus referred to hell as the place where the fire is not quenched and where their worm does not die. (Mk. 9:48)

Collier’s Encyclopedia (1986, Vol. 12, p. 28) says concerning “Hell”: “First it stands for the Hebrew Sheol of the Old Testament and the Greek Hades of the Septuagint and New Testament. Since Sheol in Old Testament times referred simply to the abode of the dead and suggested no moral distinctions, the word ‘hell,’ as understood today, is not a happy translation.”
Webster’s Third New International Dictionary, unabridged, under “Hell” says: “fr[om] . . . helan to conceal.” The word “hell” thus originally conveyed no thought of heat or torment but simply of a ‘covered over or concealed place.’ In the old English dialect the expression “helling potatoes” meant, not to roast them, but simply to place the potatoes in the ground or in a cellar.
Therefore Hell is the Grave of Mankind.

It is very difficult to say, see there are different levels of the spiritual world I don't think that there is a place where we will burn forever my interpretation of that is that our sins will lead us to burn forever becase if you look in to it its our sins that makes us suffer eternally (for as long as we live on earth) only death can stop this suffering so hell for me is our sins that we endure everyday, the fire is referring to our deeds.
