already made arrangments to take time off of work and everything, just had to wait until I got paid today. Of course airline tickets are about $200 more than I planned. Do you know of any websites for cheap airfare? Besides travelation, expedia, orbitz, travelworm, cheapoair, kayak, cheapseats, etc.? I have tried everything and I am still not finding anything affordable. I don't want to pay $800 to go to visit my sister with my son for the weekend. That's insane!

www.travelocity.com you might try looking at an airline site like nwa.com in the off chance they have affordable seats at the last minute. Good luck finding a flight!

try cheaptickets.com..but try as best you can to travel on weekdays..stay away from weekends..that makes it go down at least 60$...look for flights with many stops if you are going far....they are cheaper and start looking for cheap airlines..if traveling in usa..try southwest or ata depending on where you are going though

Most airlines have an emergency program if you call and explain your emergency(such as funeral family illness etc) they will discount the ticket

depending on where you are flying out of or to you can try www.skybus.com the have really cheap rates, but they don't have a whole lot of places they fly from and to

this is why you always plan ahead

Your only hope is the airlines directly or "priceline.com" and bid for them.
