Yes, completely, I'm a Christian and i totally believe that. God does that to me all the time. He thinks he's funny. LOL. Don't think i'm crazy because i'm not. Actually, he makes me laugh a lot, but sometimes he's just bothering me, he's weird.
Other Christians or Catholics or whatever, don't get offended when reading this, i say this stuff because i love God.
Once i was singing a song i liked, and the next song that came on the radio (interrupting me singing it) was that song. Then i laughed and asked God to play my favorite song, and it didn't come one for 3 DAYS!!! It was during the summer time, so i stayed awake for those three days, and made sure i didn't miss one song. I ate and went to the bathroom during commecials. Once i got some sleep, the next day, either it came on or i had to request it, i don't remember what happened. I think i let him chose when to play it, and when he finally did, i also requested it because i love that song.

There is a higher power. I am not sure its anything like what preachers tell you though. Maybe The simple fact is that you are doing the right thing and its all falling into place.I believe GOD is not in control nor does He want to be. I think the decisions you make are what is responsible.

24 years later i havent hit that everything starts going right point...still waiting. And no, it wouldnt be a sign that theres a higher power...winning the lottery without having ever bought a lottery ticket would be...but if you actully bout the ticket, then you did it, not god, and seeing a divine influence in a personal action is trying to relate 2 unrelated things...like when someone gets a surgury and lives...it isnt because of god, its because of the doctors....you didnt get a promotion at work because of god, you got it because you worked for it...people who relate human events, to god, are struggling for every ounce of divine influence in the life in order to justify their beliefs.

What mrr86 meant is: "what goes up, must come down". The higher power thing continues to be a debate. As you know, no one knows for sure where or what this higher power is. It's a matter of faith.

That sounds more like a sign of life. Life is a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs. Make the best of it and it can be a thrilling ride.

No it's a sign that you took care of yourself in a responsible matter and resolved your problems. Give credit where credit is due, TO YOU.
Pat yourself on the back and have a great day!
