I spend time searching for coupons to print online to help me at the grocery store each week. I prefer to do this way as opposed to pay for my local paper who we are lucky if the coupon inserts are there once a month. Last night I had my list ready compared it to the ad and searched out and printed my coupons so I can get the most for my money. I completed my shopping handed the girl my coupons and she refused the ones that were printed off the computer. I asked why and she said they no longer take them she doesn't know why. I asked who to speak to, went to the customer service desk and asked again. The person there said he didn't know why other than he thinks there coupon rep will no longer reimburse for them. I asked him to explain what he meant or who else did I need to talk to about it...he didn't know so any ideas where to turn to? Another way the stores make it harder & harder to feed a family on a food budget. No wonder more and more fall into the poor catagory!

I'd call and ask to speak to the manager. Obviously someone at the store made the decision or got the directive to not take them anymore.

A purely speculative guess is that the store doesn't get reimbursed as much as they would from ones clipped from the paper.

They all should although there are a handful (not typically chain-wide) that won't because of fraudulent coupons being used a few years back. Much of that hysteria is gone though. If in doubt, call the store manager.

If you are looking for coupon alternatives, try using the coupon clippers, they are a clipping service that clip coupons and distribute them online.
