Truthiness? I've never used this word. Sounds vague and too casual. I thought truthfulness is the more acceptable word. But hey, such word has existed, probably started in the comic or comedy industry - derived probably from the word 'truth'. Someone said that when you're truthy you're likely to be talking nonsense or rubbish! Is that true?

What I know is based on both "truthiness" or faith, as well as reason. In other words, to avoid deception, we must use both faith and reason together. There are many examples of people being deceived by ignoring both sources of truth. Here are some things I know through this strategy:
- I'm a child of God, sent to earth to learn and grow and to help others do the same.
- Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the only perfect example to ever live on this earth.
- God continues to speak through living prophets today just as he as done throughout the history of the world.

Truthiness is not a word. Look at my source list for the Urban Dictionary that includes the made up word truthiness.
Take care,

Being gay is not a "sin," nor a "choice."
There are plenty of actual facts to back me up, but this is something I know intuitively.
I also intuitively know who thumbed me down on this one...lol. I think Mr. CC has some deep-seated issues of the sort that others like him have tried to work out in a men's restroom at the Minneapolis airport.

from what i know, truthiness is not always truthful. like rumors people tells to make their selves feel better. so i suggest that you just follow your heart and go for what you believe in.

That Lexi's baby is the most beautiful baby in the world. I have no evidence because she hasn't gotten around to sending me a picture yet, but I have faith. It takes faith, too, because while Lexi is beautiful, her husband . . . well, she says he's a very good father, but I sure hope the kid doesn't look like him! LOL
Truthiness is just another word for faith.

That relies upon on you view of fact. fact relies on the perception of fact, yet fact isn't continuously comparable to perception. we could look at an occasion from Genesis: financial disaster 3 And the female reported to the serpent, "We could consume of the fruit of the timber of the backyard; 3 yet God reported, 'You shall no longer consume of the fruit of the tree that's interior the midst of the backyard, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'" 4 however the serpent reported to the female, "you will no longer die. 5 For God is conscious that once you consume of it your eyes would be opened, and you would be like God, understanding good and evil." 6 So whilst the female observed that the tree became into good for nutrients, and that it became right into a satisfaction to the eyes, and that the tree became into to be wanted to make one sensible, she took of its fruit and ate; and he or she additionally gave some to her husband, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of the two have been opened, and that they knew that they have been bare; and that they sewed fig leaves jointly and made themselves aprons. So right here we see that God lied with regard to the character of the tree for worry of the certainty and powers it imparted. (What God Lied !!! that should mean Christianity could be a lie. ) in addition to all of us comprehend this because of the fact of his reaction: Then our lord god reported, "Behold, the guy has grow to be like one human beings, understanding good and evil; and now, lest he placed forth his hand and take additionally of the tree of life, and consume, and stay for ever" -- for this reason our lord god despatched him forth from the backyard of Eden. So relatively God lied with regard to the character of the tree and to circumvent guy from turning out to be to be godlike solid him out of the backyard. So tell me does this sound like a faith who's foundation is "truthiness"?
