I wonder, because the Washington Times, owned by Rev. Moon, is a very popular newspaper among leading Christian Conservatives. Is Moon at least a fundie allie?

My facts are not at all wrong. The Washington Times is owned by Rev. Moon and its editorial page is one of the most important platforms the christian right has. That made me curious about how Christians feel about the moonies as a religious sect. I assumed there must be great affinity based on their often convergent opinions on political affairs.

I remember getting a "don't join the Moonies" cult video when I was a kid. Funny thing is, it was all a bunch of lies about the Moonies. Not that I'm a fan, I just think the anti-Moonie thing is blown out of proportion. Reverend Moon is just as dishonest with money as a good number of evangelical ministers have proven to be within the last thirty years...

The Moonies are a cult. Those "christians" that like them, I have my serious doubts about, since it's a very bad association.

Moonies worship Syyung Moon, the man...NOT Almighty God.
So they are NOT Christians.
