Vile Temptress. Some guy keeps emailing women and calling them things like "Vile Temptress," "Incarnatrix of Evil" and such, so they're owning it.

Like so many before me have said, it stands for "Vile Temptress." A nasty troll was calling us that and we decided to embrace the words instead of let him use them as an insult.

Vile Temptress
The one who started this was a fundie who posts abusive questions and answers. (You'll know him because he uses the word "hypocrite" about a hundred times in every question and answer. He's on here under a bunch of different user names.) He also likes to send people abusive e-mails, and ask abusive questions attacking other users by name. In one post, he attacked a female user and started calling her (and other females on this forum) a "Vile Temptress". {{hugs Rach...}}} Other females sort of banded together and made it into a sort of a "badge of honor". I added it to my avatar after the fundie in question posted a question attacking me by name.
