so far, two unintelligent answers. is that all you got? or is it useless to expect a sensible answer from people like you?

Catholic Crusader, please don't let them lose face. let them defend their (Biblicists') own doctrine, and don't give them the right answer! that's cheating. :P

well, Biblicists, what? I'm still waiting... should I give up now?

NO, it's not enough to defend your beliefs with just being emotional!

1.) How do you know what constitutes the New Testament canon?

-Is it not enough to read it and be a better person because of it?

2.) How do you know for certain that these 27 books here in your New Testament are in fact inspired and should be in the New Testament?

-For me to know that I would have to know some mysterious of the world that no one else does...then I'm not sure I would need the Bible if I had those mysterious figured out.

3.) How do you know that some inspired books were not left out of the canon?

-I don't, and I think it is very possible that there are some left out. Does that make the included books any less important?

4.) And can you prove that your interpretation of the Scripture is accurate, and will always be accurate?

-No, I can't "prove" that my interpretation of the Scripture is accurate anymore than I can prove that anything I interpret is accurate...but it works for me :)

*Edit*
Tur b: Who said anything about defending my religion? I am just answering your questions with my honest replies...sorry if you can't accept that.

CJ says the Holy Spirit guided them, which would mean the "apocryhpa" would be inspired, either that or the Holy Spirit waited 1500 years to inform someone.

I must say that I'm flabbergasted; you've managed to ask a question to which CJ (if that's the real CJ) didn't once use the words "cult" or "unsaved".

Standing by to see what others come up with.

All irrelevant. A man named Christ lived and was executed for sedition---historical fact. The story of his life can be found in the New Testament, the apocrypha and other various sources. Make your decision on who he was. Figuring out the useless questions your asking will never tell you if someone was God. Try to live like Jesus, then make your decision.

1) God promised to preserve His Word through all generations. God cannot lie. Jews wrote the Bible and gave it to us. All Jews.

2) See question 1. You obviously don't trust God with His own Word. Shows what you believe.

3) See question 1. This is getting silly.

4) The Bible says the Holy Spirit leads us as believers into all truth. God cannot lie.

You don't trust God one iota, do you?
