I'm in the area, so I'm taking an early day to catch his speech on Capital Hill, but it'll be broadcast on TV as well.

NOT a Tibetan Buddhist, but this should be more than worth seeing anyway. Anyone else excited to see what the man has to say?

He is truly a saint.

Sad that bush downplayed his visit so the Chinese were not offended. We can't have anything threaten the flow of lead laced toys into the country.

Love and blessings Don

I had the honor of sitting in on one of his lectures in St. Paul a few years ago. He's definitely worth taking the time to listen to.

Well, I won't. But this is one occasion that makes me very briefly regret that hubby and I choose not to have TV.
