Ya, on several ocasions. The best way is to tell someone what you dont like in case if you are facing genuine problem.
If you get better opportunity then be frank and tell your boss that you have better offer , money-wise, career wise etc.

yes... it was a saturday job i had in high school... it was "as needed" and they wouldn't let me know until 7am whether they needed me at 7:30am or not... they usually only needed me when i had fixed plans... i had not worked in 3 weeks and when they called one saturday, i was going to kings dominion... my response was simply "i quit.--- [click]"
