I guess we all have something in are past that we wish we would not have done. I remember taking money when I was a waiter. I was mad because I was not getting a percentage of tips from the other waitresses. I was caught and fired! Man, I felt so low! Never stole again after that!! How about you?

Yes. I have a 'friend' who worked in a legal but questionable business in the line of adult entertainment. She was "pushed" into the profession by the father of her child, initially. After that relationship ended, she continued in the business. In 1999, she bought out two businesses of the same nature. The ran these businesses and made a killing and ended up in a 32 1/2% tax bracket. She made a killing, paid her taxes and invested. She shut the businesses down 5 years ago at the request of her then-husband.

Actually, something similar. Myself and another waitress (the only other one) were owed tips for one night. We didn't get them that night, and were told we'd get them the next day, and then the next day, and so on. So in the end I just took it from a tip someone had left on a table. I left the job soon after, so I didn't really care. I wouldn't care anyway, to be quite honest - it was only a few quid, and I had asked repeatedly and gotten nowhere. So I took it instead. The way I saw it, I earned it.
I accidentally stole a handbag once as well when I was doing some shopping. I had it in my hand then just walked out without really noticing what I was doing. I realised I still had it about 40 seconds after that, so I ran back to the shop and explained what happened. They were fine about it, but I was mortified - what if the security guard had noticed me and come out after me, in front of everybody, accusing me of shoplifting? Aaaggghhhh! I'm cringing just thinking about it now...

mine would be when i was a child and took milk money from a neighbours doorstep when my mum found out was sent to bed with slapped bottom no tea thought my world had come to an end ! then dragged round the following morning to apologise needless to say that did it for me RESPECT for other peoples belongings from then on in and i was only 4 years old at the time !!

when my ex husband was seeing another woman, he would come home for dinner and then shower etc to go and meet her. I used to put senna in his gravy. He coundn't understand why he kept getting the runs and he doesn't know to this day what I used to do.
