and what does it mean to "take care" or "satisfy" a warrant....how can i "take care" of the warrant without being arrested?

Forever. Bench warrants are not actively pursued. The problem comes when you get stopped for something else and the warrant shows up on the computer. You can then be arrested.

Until you are arrested, take care of the warrant or are proven deceased.

There is no expiration date on a bench warrant. Address it now, or later. The choice is yours.

From what I have come to understand, the warrant will remain active until one takes care of it or is apprehended.
