Nope. No more than any other Christian faith.
All orthodox Christianity worships the trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Catholics don't worship saints, and they are not at all equal to God.
On the other hand, Mormons believe that there are many Gods, though they worship only the Heavenly Father. They also believe in a Heavenly Mother. This is much closer to Paganism than Catholicism.

Catholicism has CHRISTIANIZED countless pagans throughout the centuries. It has caused the polytheists to give up their many false gods, it saved Ireland from Druidry and ancient pagan religions, etc. etc.... Christian and pagan are two totally different things.
The fact that the Catholic Church was started by Christ tells you that it is Christian, considering that Christian means a follower of Christ.

When Christinanity was accepted by the Roman Empire - the Church went about figuring out ways to incorporate the pagan 'schedule' of special days into the Christian calendar.
Thus, many of the days we Christians celebrate were actually from pagan origins. (ie: Easter takes place during pagan fertility festival times)
It does not bother me because I respect all faith paths, thus I expect my faith path to be respected.

I heard something a while ago about how early roman christians were having difficulty with sticking to the one God to pray to so they used some of their earlier ideas of multiple Gods and turned them into "Saints".
I cant remember where I heard it though.

Catholicism is the first form of Christianity. You can call it what you want, but you should read it's history and the history of paganism first.

Catholicism and all forms of Christianity that have branched off from it are forms of paganism.
If you follow the roots of the different beliefs they all stem from pagan teachings.
Stop arguing and do a bit of research.
