Catholics see Pope in flames
Tuesday, 16 October 2007
Catholics claim this image, which looks spookily like a figure with it’s hand raised is of the late Pope John Paul II appearing in a bonfire.

The apparent outline of the deceased pontiff raising his hand in a blessing was captured at a ceremony near the Pole’s birthplace to mark the second anniversary of his death.

Polish cameraman Gregorz Lukasik who the took the picture in April said: “It was only when I got home and looked at the pictures I realised I had something.

The Holy Spirit appeared as tongues of flame at Pentecost (Acts 2). So your theory that only hell-bound things are represented in flames is way, way, way, WAY off.

The bonfire thing is only significant because the photo was snapped at the exact hour Pope John Paul II died and none of the other pictures taken before or afterward display any sort of recognizable shape.

Is it a miracle or a coincidence? That remains to be seen. But it is NOT an idol, because it was not crafted by humans but a natural phenomenon (fire) and it is not worshiped in any way.

To repeat an astute observation...

You`re bias towards Catholics is very obvious,no one worshiped the fiery image that resembled the late Pope and no one made it, all that was said by people was it looked like an image of Pope John-Paul.

Geesh!

Why, even after it has been explained to you a thousand times, do you still misunderstand Catholicism?
