You agree with a deity that kills all the people in the world because they don't pray to him?
What kind of a sick genocidal maniac are you?

Firstly, Try reading the New Testament and then read The Urantia Book; both will help you understand 'the good God' beyond any doubts.
Your eternal happiness is dependent upon your faith in God as reality and your faith in truth-seeking - real, honest and sure truth-seeking. That means no more lazy mind, no more fear! Check and double check your sources. Study them well and use your spiritual discernment to discover fact from fiction.
Secondly, may I recommend that you take no less than five minutes a day to sit quietly and just have a little talk with God about any and everything in your life. You can include prayers (unselfish ones), thanksgiving and worship.
The most effective prayer is sincere and honest. Share it all with God. Ask for guidance and answers. Be assured that you, as a son of God will have answers.
Our Loving Heavenly Father never leaves his child in the dark as to his or her position in the 'kingdom'; ask for assurance. Once you have come to actually know Our Father, you will quickly discard all these notions about his purported wrath.
He is the God of life and of the living, not of death and killing. Our Creator Father gives life, and does not take it away. But this will you learn bit by bit how that is and why some do think so.
He loves you. So go to him, make an appointment and keep it every single day. You will never regret it.

please get a simple Revised Standard Version or Good News Version of the Bible an read it before u burst from ignorance. God (capital G) did NOT kill the people because they refused to pray fro Noah. Noah built the Ark for 120 years, and all that time he asked the people to enter the ark but they only laughed. God gave them the choice and they chose death. the flood ended after 40 days and the Bible says in Genesis 8
21 Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
22 "As long as the earth endures, seed time and harvest,
cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night
will never cease."

There are other things that He promised to do which do not have floods as the main event like when that happened in Noah's time.
But those people didn't have that problem back then because their prayer life was bad - it's because they did not trust the word of God when they heard it.
The same went for Sodom. They didn't believe the word of God when they heard it.
The same thing will go for those living in the world now. If they do not believe the word of God they will also perish.
That's the main theme throughout the Bible. You can trust in many things, but trusting God keeps you from perishing.

Do you really think that is why God destroyed them? Because they didn't pray to Him? The Bible says that every thought, all the time, was set on evil. That is a little more extreme don't you think? Your perception about God might need some adjustment.

Read the section here on what happens when you drown. This is how god killed nearly every mammal on an Entire Planet. Makes you think twice about the words benevolent and god being in the same sentence:

Worry not,I have built an Ark to equal Noah's.It contains 2 of every animal(including an enormous aquarium for all the corals and saltwater fish that would die through the desalinization of the sea from all that rain) every plant genus (cause obviously they would all die being completely submerged for so long) and is the size of the moon.I am surprised you cant see it from your house already.

Build a boat. If you can't learn that simple lesson from the story I think you might need to go ahead and remove yourself from the gene pool.
