Why break up? Because there's a difference in loving someone and being in love. You can love someone but not be a right fit for them and vice versa.

That axplains it. One doesn't normally break up with someone they love, although I agree there are different types. I guess the telling factor would be if we were talking about love at all! What some call love is infatuation. Many don't know the meaning! I also agree that in a relationship love is not enough and if you BOTH don't work at it eventually your relationship will fail!

Ugh...break-ups.
It's difficult to break up when there is love there because you can still see some sort of potential. And no matter what happens down the road it still feels like there is something unresolved.
Angry break-ups are a little easier. It definitely feels like there is resolution in those cases.

i dont really understand if you love someone and care about them why would you break up with them [[unless they cheated]] then i dont really see the point
but anyways it harder because when you love someone every minute you spend away from them hurts and you long for them and every time you hear their name your whole face lights up and when your thinking about them[[which you probably will be all the time]] you cant help but smile and you dont want to give that feeling up i didnt and it was hard and still is when i see them because everyday i wonder what if i didnt break up with them where would we be now and i wonder if he still loves me just as much as i love him and dating is going to kill you because your never going to get that same feeling with anyone else until you completely get over them i know and it hurts like hell when you find out they are dating again i promise i have been through it

You must be a woman, because most guys wouldn't leave a relationship with a woman they still felt something for...girls tend to look for reasons to screw things up; guys tend to do things that women feel are intended against them, or should be 'changed'. lol

"easy like Sunday morning...." :)
You’re showin' your age...
I'm not sure. I never found it easy one way or the other. My little girl (17) just had her heart broken for the first time and mine went with it.
I'm not sure it's ever "easy like Sunday morning....". Perhaps to some it is, but not to me.

Because you know they are a good person and you feel terrible to have to be the one to cause them pain.
