Yes, there should be one during the chase. Even though my driver lost it during the last road course race, I still think they should have one more.

And Carmen. What do you mean road courses werent built for "Solid Built Cars"? Its NASCAR....ie..STOCK CARS...you know....like the ones we drive...like on roads and all....

Yes, I've always thought that NASCAR should add more road courses. Many of the drivers complain about making right turns but c'mon, how it is really racing and a demonstration of "skill" when one stays in the same gear the entire race and only makes left turns, c'mon... It's more of an "endurance" race on these circle tracks.

There are some really good tracks that should be added: Laguna Seca Raceway would be awesome, plus there are some less known tracks that NASCAR could invest some money in to build grand stands, parking lots, etc like Thunderhill Raceway, Buttonwillow raceway...

Yes. I can't watch most races because they are so boring. It is interesting seeing the pit strategies and such, but there are too many cookie cutter tracks.

Laguna Seca is an obvious choice.

What would be really interesting to see, someday, maybe as a test day with COT or COT2 when it comes out in 5-10 years is Nurburgring Nordschleife. Get those good old boys out there on a real track with some distance to it. They'd have to pit every lap or two, and it would be a TV nightmare, but it sure as hell would separate the drivers from the loopers.

Realistically, the road tracks are a kind of novelty, with obscure one shot drivers like Said and co. doing really well, and everyone else looking like they are driving for the first time. "Like a pig on rollerskates," to quote an old NASCAR announcer...

Yes there should be at least one other road course added to the chase, I would suggest Mexico and or Montreal. Busch races there have been a success from a fan support point of view and would only be bigger with all the Cup stars there.

Also as more international drivers come to Nascar it is a great opportunity to solidify Nascar's fan base outside of the US by adding a race outside of the US. Mexico or Canada makes the most sense logistically. Also with Villeneuve and Carpentier set to come in to the Cup series next year you would have guaranteed sellouts for all practice and qualifying sessions in Montreal.

I think they should have one more, and it should be during the chase. The track in Mexico City seems like an obvious candidate, as they've run Busch races there the past couple of years.

The Chase should determine who the best all around driver is, and a road course is a key factor in that. Most people who don't like them feel that way because their driver doesn't do well at them.

Absolutely! There should be a road course in the Chase. There's too much chance of foul weather in Watkins Glen or Sonoma that time of year, but they could run at Laguna Seca or Road Atlanta.
Drop the second Fontana race to fit it in: they can't sell out both races, ergo, they don't deserve two.

I like road courses, but maybe they should keep it at two but maybe take the cup guys down to mexico one time, or up in canada, look at the crowd they had for practice and qualifying up there and with Villeneuve and Carpentier, they'd get a full house..I have a cousin in Montreal, she said they would love a cup race up there...I went down to Mexico to the Busch race this yr, it was wild and crazy down there..The fans loved it...With all these international drivers and with the crowds these two races had it might be something to think about...But I'd say keep the road courses to 2 times a yr, but rotate them between different places..

Keep the two they have and add another to the chase. Chase races should consist of Superspeedways, Short Tracks, Road Courses and Restrictor Plate Tracks. Mix up the tracks and the best drivers will rise to the top.

Yes, i think we could replace fontana's race and another cookie cutter, follow the leader track with two more road courses. There should be atleast one more in the chase. I think VIR would be a great facility to host a cup race. Also would love to see a race at laguna seca...could you imagine cup cars trying to figure out the corkscrew? NASCAR would probably block that part of the track off, but it still would be neat to see.

Nothing worse than a road course. Thank God we only have to sit through two a year these days. I could probably tolerate three in a season, but no more than that. Of the two tracks they compete at, Watkins Glen is more entertaining.

They should add another Sonoma and Watkins Glen race, and add Cirque and Mexico to the schedule.
