Whats the advantages and disadvatages of having glasses to correct myopia?

advantages?compared with what?
basically glasses are the safest and oldest way to correct vision
with basically no side effects:)

By lasers? Pl. be more specific. If the surgery is successful, no need for glasses and contacts. If not, you will still need glasses and a lot of money, unnecessary scarring of eye etc. Discuss with an eye surgeon and look up on internet from sites that give medical information.

No disadvantage except that you may drop them , break them or forget them somewhere. And some one may comment that you look funny or old.
