If so, have you since questioned your own faith?

No. But as a Christian gay man, I pray that the Holy Spirit leads Mr. Haggard to an acceptance of his natural sexual orientation rather than allowing himself to be pushed into a heterosexual lifestyle which is not natural for him. May he accept the fact that he is gay and finally find wholeness in his life.

No person on earth is ever elevated anywhere near the
Diety of God and Jesus.

man is a sinner, and it is a shame when one so highly looked up to, falls so mightily

So what about Billy Graham - so faithful - so long -
would he not make you want to question your belief?

all the best

There is not a man alive that has my complete "belief" for we are all sinners. I do not question my faith when a supposed "man of God" falls, I question his belief.

Atheist,
I did not study Ted's Ministry but if I had I would have been sad for him and I am for his' followers. He and every other preacher are just men. They are sinful and have human tendencies just as YOU and I do. Paul wrote that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD". This is true for everyone and not just for YOU and I. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

As a gay Christian I can understand Ted Haggard's struggles.

But I cannot understand his hypocrisy.

Sure, the same level of nonbelief for both.

Just that Ted got outed, all we have on Jesus is his male foot fetish.
