Many Muslims in Indonesia believe that Muhammad wasnt the final prophet. In their defense, the word "seal" doesnt at all have to mean "last".

Most Muslims haven't read a fraction of their religous texts, I often ask legitimate questions about things clearly contained within them, and they're for the vast majority completely clueless about Hadith, and Ishka.
The ones that are not clueless simply ignore the question because they do not want to expose their true beliefs.

Muhammad was the last in a long line of Prophets/Universal Educators and sealed the Prophetic/Adamic Cycle. Now a new age has dawned, logically and inevitably flowing from the Prophetic Cycle called the Age of Fulfillment and inaugurated by Baha'u'llah, whose name means Glory of God.

well, by reading this, i assume you are talking about imam mahdi. imam mahdi will come at the end of the world. They say he is a prophet because he will come and start preaching about islam, but he is not bringing the word of god to us(muhammad s.a.a.w did that, that is why he was the last prophet) he is refreshing our corupted minds with the blessed words of gods. he is chosen to remind us of what a wonderful religion islam is. so, he is chosen by god and is the last man on earth to preach the words of god, but he is not a prophet, he is an imam. hope this is clear enough for you to understand.

The yahoo users who disagreed are assuming that Sunni Hadith are reliable. Some, including two Iraqi friends of mine, would say that Sunni Hadith is mainly forged.

Quran has mentioned Khatam ul nabiyeen, which mean the Last prophet and also seal of the prophets.
Hadith has mentioned many times that he is the last prophet and no prophet will come after him except Jesus Christ who is already living in the heavens and will descend in Damascus not in India, Indonesia or Saudia. Beside many Ahadith the following was proclaimed by him on the day of his last pilgrimage in front of 124000 pilgrims and ashabs:
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.
I have replied some of the arguments of disbelievers in my book. Extract is hereunder:
All prophets (Ø£ÙبÙا‘) of God and His prophets who were sent as messengers (رسÙÙ) to different nations of the world are truthful. They conveyed the message of God for benefit of those nations. And Prophet Mohammad (peace and Allah be upon him) is the Last Messenger of God who was sent to all nations of the world. He brought the message in complete form covering all spheres of life and providing a comprehensive guidance for each one in every situation. Secondly God Himself has taken responsibility to protect His message sent through His last prophet unlike other nations who were supposed to protect it. And we see Quran is same as it was revealed more than fourteen centuries ago, even every word spoken by the prophet and every action done or ordered by him is preserved in the books and memories of the Muslim nation. No Prophet will come and no Prophet will be sent as Messenger after Him as He is "The Seal of Prophets". Any one who claims that he is a prophet and has been sent as a messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever as per the verses of Quran for ascribing a false statement to Allah The All-Mighty. It is mentioned in Quran Sura-10 Younas v-69 "O Prophet, tell them: "Those who ascribe false things to Allah will never prosper."
As far descending of Jesus Christ (pbuh) is concerned, he is living a normal life in heavens and he will descend some time before the Day of Judgment and govern this world justly for forty years and guide the Muslims nations for their success. Allah The All-Mighty has told in Quran Sura Az-Zukhruf V-61 "He (Jesus) is, in fact, a sign for the coming of the Hour of Doom. Therefore, have no doubt about its coming, follow me; this is the Right Way". And Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) has given complete details about him and about the events that will happen before his descending and after his arrival. Muslims know him very clearly; his face, features and words, and they can never make a mistake in recognizing their great leader when he will descend. I have mentioned a summary of those details for your reference. We have to fight against Qadianiat (Ahmadi Sect) and all other misleading sects and religious leaders with knowledge and wisdom. Muslims are one brother-hood and they are a nation following the commandments of Allah (The All-Mighty) sent through His truthful messengers.

Why would we need another messenger when the message has been conveyed fully with no contradictions in it and there are millions of muslims and thousands of scholars.

Those who claim and call themselves Truth Seekers don't want to know the truth. I have not heard any truth from him so far.
