"The Prince William County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday night and passed a resolution to deny some services to illegal immigrants.
The policy is one of the toughest in the country and has already been met with protests, boycotts and a federal lawsuit. Officials had said the decision could impact several other counties around the country.
The board voted to allow police to check the residency status of illegal immigrants if they are suspected of breaking a law. The measure also means that county services such as housing assistance, drug rehab for jail inmates and senior programs would be denied to illegal immigrants. "

There is a way to come into this country LEGALLY!! Millions of immigrants who came to the US “to get a better life” have done it!! Illegals coming here breaking laws, hurting the economy, increasing crime rates and putting a strain on our education and health care systems is not bad enough; they have the nerve to DEMAND rights!!!! Can I go to Mexico and DEMAND things in English, DEMAND things to change just to suit me????? I don’t think so!!!! Yes I know what we did to blacks was terrible and all that, but that is not the issue we are talking about! And yes we will win against illegals!!

That is great news. The sad part is that the federal government is not living up to the will of the people. The governmment is more concerned about votes, money, power and big business.

The federal courts will probably strike it down just like they tossed out the Hazleton resolution. Sadly the realm of immigration is that of the federal gov't and not local police. So says the US constitution.
This is of course a separate issue in that I have no idea how they are going to check the immigration status of everyone they come across or how the "services" being denied are going to confirm people's immigration status. The only thing I have that proves I'm a US resident is my birth certificate and I'm not inclined to carry that around with me nor would I be inclined to have to prove that I am a resident to every police officer and public service official I would meet. It sounds intrusive, time consuming, and expensive.
In addition to its intrusiveness on actual citizens, laws like this are ripe for abuse and harassment of legal Hispanics who will be excessively targeted due to the majority of undocumented immigrants being Hispanic in origin.

I think you will see more and more communities doing this type of thing. Americans are fed up and outraged and starting to put a great deal of pressure on their elected officials. I think the federal government is making a pathetic show of enforcing the law but it is too little too late. For every few hundred or thousand raids and arrests are getting 4,000 a day keep coming in. This will continue to happen until the border is secured. Maybe we should bring our fighting men and women home and put them on the borders until the fence can be built. This whole situation has many many Americans very angry and could potentially cause conflict right here in our back yard.

How can you be a 1st world country and be so friggin' ignorant? Yes, I wish all the illegals would do the right thing, except, it is nearly impossible. The US is issuing so little visas and the requirements to get one are ridiculous. Yes, I know you feel you have the right to deny entry to someone you don't like, buuuuuuuuuttttttt..........
This is the consecuence of f****** up other countries. Suck it up. When you f*** up a country, bring in your military, blow the s*** out of the country, or finance a revolution and overturning of a president so you can put in the chair one of your buddies who will make your country filthy rich with their monopolies, and as a consecuence you take away the freedom and the money from the people, of course they are going to react. When you can't even afford a kilo of beans to feed your kids, you're not gonna sit there around, you're gonna find a way, even if it is illegal.
You know, you have a black history, maybe you should read more into it. You can't win against illegals, you can make things harder, but you can't win. And maybe reading a bit, you would understand why they are there in the first place.

Personally I think it's great, people keep forgetting they are in our country illegally. They should have no rights at all. I hope and pray that more states will do the same. I live in Montana, and they are beginning to come here, I moved from California to get a job where I didn't have to learn to speak spanish. It looks like Montana will become another state that caters to illegals. They are beginning to move into Canada as well. If we snuck across a border, we'd be arrested. Why can't we do the same to them? Instead of trying to reward them for breaking our laws. Three cheers for Northern VA

Have you noticed that all of your little victories have been overturned by the court,Like Hazeleton and that other little town in the South, where the whole town Businesses closed down. Now the had to pay $85,000 in legal fees, and when the court orders them to paid the legal fees of the people that ,sued them. Add to that the judgment by the court. Oh yes the Mayor was voted out of office, Voter Backlash ! The Court even ordered an Injunction to stop building the fence on Protected Federal land in Arizona. They can pass the law , now lets see if it can pass the requirements of the Court.

The only way to stop this illegal immigration invasion and turn it around, is for people all over the USA to take to the streets, our so called elected officials will do nothing. Even the candidates running for president, are ignoring the will of the people.and ignoring the issue.

Linda E , I'm with you.. Let's bring our troops home and get this mess taken' care of...
We do have enough troops overseas to solve this problem if we brought them home...
By doin' that our families lives would settle down some too, little less worry, stress, etc..
Not to mention what it could do for the moral of our troops by havin' them home a little safer (not much) and a little closer to family...
My brother is bein' shipped out to the war after the New Year and my mom's heart has just about been broken and it don't help that there is resentment and crap in the family....
He hasn't spoken to her since he gave us the news.....
and may not get to even call her before he ships out...
It's all so sad, the war, the immigration issues, all of it.....

Oklahoma is getting tough on illegals as well.
Its good to see.
I've heard on talk radio that 1 in 3 inmates in jail/prison are illegal immigrants. If we can get these illegals out of our jails there would be more room for people like Britney Spears, Nicole Ritchie and various other stars that get to go home because the jails are overcrowded.
Quite frankly, I'm tired of hearing about how some illegal killed someone somewhere.
I seen on fox news that alot of illegals are fleeing over the border to canada, which is great. They get a better life there. Soon canada will feel the pinch.
That is why we need military on our borders securing it now. I think that is the biggest issue we're facing in america.
And another thing, when it takes over 50 million dollars to run for president, these people who are running for president take money from very rich people who don't want the illegals to go home. So nothing ever gets done about. Me, you, Tom, Dick and Harry don't matter to the gov't. The president is working for the rich people who gave them the money to get where they are.

We aren't just fighting illegals but the system that wants to unite Canada,States & Mexico-the NAU. Did you see NY where that dingbat is issuing drivers liscence to ILLEGALS. That must be like a giant green light for them. So much for our Homeland Security as far as borders but look at the progress with spying of us citizens. Shameful.
