Armed Forces Medical College located in Pune is the only medical college totally run by armed forces of India. The college trains undergraduates for M.B.B.S , and Post graduates of only armed forces doctors. It is supervised by an officer of the rank of a Major General. Admission to M.B.B.S classes is through an All India Competative examination . Post graduates are selected by Army Medical Corps , exclusively from serving doctors of Armed Forces.Command Hospital Pune is the Hospital attached. It is a well equipped hospital with all training in all speciaities and super specialities
