We have two small bathrooms that are real basic. If one is available, this might be a nice upgrade in the master bath.

A garden tub is larger than a standard tub and sizes will vary, but usually have jets. You can also install a standard tub with jets and this is a nice option for a smaller bath.

You can find gardens tubs in any size, color and shape these days. If you can help it though, don't go to a home depot type store because they will charge you a lot of money. The best places to buy tubs are from local companies so if you have any problems you can go straight to the source instead of trying to contact a major company. I would shop around though to find the best price and the best warranty. If you are looking for a jetted tub, perhaps in the master bathroom, don't be concerned about the cleanliness. There are a few simple and effective ways to clean the jetting lines. Fill your tub up above the jets, put about a half cup of the powder dishwasher detergent, then run your jets for fifteen minutes, then drain, refill, run jets again to clean out the detergent and drain. No problem. Many people will discourage you from getting a jetted tub because they think that they're dirty, if you take care of your tub you won't have any problems. You can use any bubble bath or soap in the tub as long as you rinse your tub out.

A garden tub would be a great upgrade as these are now the norm for master baths. Garden tubs come in different sizes and shapes so you would have to look at your space and determine what would work for you. You have the option of either a garden (no jets) or a jacuzzi (with jets) in these tubs. I've had both and prefer no jets. Jets are too difficult to maintain and you can't use oils or bubble bath products. Shop around and ask a lot of questions.

Garden tubs come in various sizes, depends on where you will install it, example, in a corner, corner tubs are 54 inch by 54 inch. Standard garden tub size is 40 inch by 54 inches.
